Why is this important?


How to get to TalentEd
  1. Go to the district website: www.mahtomedi.k12.mn.us
  2. Click on “Staff” at the bottom.
  3. Click on “TalentEd”.
  4. Your username is your district e-mail address.
  5. Your password was self-created...if you don’t remember your password, click on “Forgot your password?” and go through the steps to reset your password.
Probationary evaluation:
3 times per year until continuing the contract.

Continuing contract evaluation:
Principal observation once every 3 years, all documentation in TalentEd

Student learning goal: SMART goal, teacher level, classroom-level data, longitudinal
 Could be PLC embedded or individual
“A Student Learning Goal is a measurable, long-term, academic goal informed by available data that a teacher or teacher team sets at the beginning of the year for all students or subgroups of students.” (MDE, 2019)

*goal must be set by November 4th
*working to restructure what this looks like in TalentEd to share the form with admin once goal is written rather than save and submit
Observations
Student engagement project: should be connected to one of the building goals
“Student engagement measures should account for multiple sources of data over multiple points in time to have the most complete view of how students are engaged and the impact engagement has had on learning.” (MDE, 2019)
