Purpose: To develop, foster, and maintain a positive school climate by focusing on the ongoing, systematic process and practices in the school, create school-wide expectations, and to address school climate issues relates to the social/emotional well-being of all the school’s stakeholders. Plan and help execute school-wide assemblies and celebrations.
Decision Matrix Letter: C- Made by the group, principal is equal participant.
Method of consensus: Fist to 5.
5- I’ll champion, 4- I Strongly Agree, 3- Agree, 2- Reservations, 1-Disagree, Fist Oppose.
Type and Communication: This committee will be collecting and organizing a data collection system, then using that data to drive school improvement in SEL. The data will be shared at staff meetings with the entire staff.
Time Commitment: - Weekly at first, once the systems get rolling monthly.
