Purpose: Reviews the performance of students who are not performing at their potential in the classroom. They are recommended to this team by classroom teachers or through data analysis. Interventions are suggested for a period of 6-8 weeks at which time the team reconvenes on the student’s progress to assess success. If unsuccessful, another intervention is recommended for another 6 weeks and reviewed. This committee makes recommendations to our CST ( SPED) team.
Decision Matrix Letter: C- Made by the group, principal is equal participant.
Method of consensus: Fist to 5.
5- I’ll champion, 4- I Strongly Agree, 3- Agree, 2- Reservations, 1-Disagree, Fist Oppose.
Type and Communication: This team communicates with classroom teachers and staff involved with the student’s intervention. Notes are documented from all Solution meetings.
